Deggendorf is a Bavarian town with approximately 36.800 inhabitants. It is located at the border of the river Danube and right in front of the Bavarian Forest which is why it is often called “gateway to the Bavarian Forest”. Deggendorf has a strong economy which is primarily based on SMEs.
